World Vision Taiwan Dialogue
At Starite, we believe the value of an industry should not be defined solely by production output, but by how it supports the community around it—especially when circumstances are challenging.
Operating in a remote factory location, we are deeply aware of the realities faced by families and children in our surrounding environment. Even in a difficult market, we feel a responsibility to give back locally, where our factory and people are rooted. Supporting children and families in need is not a short-term initiative for us, but a long-term commitment grounded in where we stand.
As a company approaching nearly 50 years in the industry, we see this moment not only as part of our ESG responsibility, but as a way of returning appreciation to society. Our growth has been supported by many hands over the decades, and it feels meaningful to translate that gratitude into action.
Today, we were honored to host a kick-off meeting with World Vision Taiwan（台灣世界展望會）, represented by members of their Marketing & Resource Development team. The conversation focused on a shared belief: that businesses can play a constructive role in creating social impact through care, responsibility, and continuity.
The discussion also carried personal meaning for our team. Some of our colleagues have firsthand experience working alongside World Vision since its early days in Taiwan—when Taiwan itself once relied on international sponsorship and support. As World Vision established its local presence, the role gradually shifted from receiving help to offering it. Today, we see this collaboration as a chance to extend that same spirit beyond borders, supporting children and youth overseas who are still in need.
Looking ahead, we are also exploring opportunities to collaborate with World Vision in supporting young people closer to our factory—through learning exposure, skills development, and potential internship opportunities. We hope to create pathways where youth can gain experience, confidence, and perspective for their future.
This meeting marks an early step in a journey that goes beyond projects or branding. It reflects our belief that industry and humanity should move forward together—steadily, sincerely, and with purpose.
We look forward to sharing more as this collaboration develops.
