Acrylic Light Installation for Hospitality & Landscape Projects
The Yuzen’s Light Forest at Chino Village Resort represents more than a lighting installation—it is a long-term case study in how material,
design, and engineering translate into enduring spatial value.
Developed in collaboration with Fengyi Co., Ltd., this project reflects a shared philosophy:
design should be timeless, and materials must perform beyond aesthetics.
From Design Intent to Scalable Execution
Originally conceived as a series of symbolic light columns, the challenge was to create guidance, atmosphere, and identity—without interrupting the natural landscape.
Through 24 precision-engineered acrylic tubes, the installation achieves:
* Visual rhythm without visual obstruction
* Day-to-night transformation through light interaction
* Seamless integration with architecture and environment
This demonstrates how transparent material systems can become a core design tool, not just a component.
Material as a Strategic Design Tool
Using architectural-grade acrylic tubes, this project delivers:
* High optical clarity for controlled light diffusion
* Structural consistency for outdoor durability
* Scalable fabrication for repeatable project deployment
* Why This Matters for Designers & Developers
This project is a proven reference for:
* Hospitality landscape lighting
* Resort and outdoor spatial design
* Wayfinding and experiential installations
* Brand-driven architectural features

Applicable material solutions include:
Acrylic Tubes · Rods · Sheets · Mirror Sheets
From Legacy to Future Applications
Years after completion, this installation continues to perform—demonstrating what we define as “Atmospheric ROI”:
the ability of material and lighting to create lasting identity, engagement, and value.
At Starite (by Sing Mas), we extend this approach globally—supporting designers, developers, and project teams with integrated material, engineering, and application solutions.
